While enjoying all the fun summer events Greenbelt has to offer, take time to think about that one special person who should be Greenbelt’s 2016 Outstanding Citizen. Look around – certain people stand out for the services they give to the community, for the generosity of time, for concern, leadership and dedication. These are the qualities which make Greenbelt such a great place to live. Nominees must be volunteers. They may devote most of their efforts to just one organization or spread their time and efforts throughout the community. They may be long-time residents or relative newcomers who have made an impact; they may be senior citizens or younger folk who have managed to give generously of their talents. If you know such a person who stands out, someone who demonstrates concern for others, enthusiasm and cooperation, now is the time to send a nomination to the Outstanding Citizen Selection Committee, Robert Zugby, Chair, 94 Ridge Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. A nomination form may be found in this paper. For more information read the complete article in the newspaper.
