The annual senior open forum was held on October 8 to allow senior citizens to bring issues of concern before the city council. Betty Timer, the current chair of the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee (SCAC), presided over the meeting. Many committee members were present, including Phyllis Budin, Brenda Cooley, Bunny Fitzgerald, Ed Hickey and Frank Pearlman.
