Tuesday, November 8, is election day for the offices of U.S. president, U.S. senator for Maryland, fifth district congressman and judges of the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County. There will also be county and state ballot questions for voters to decide.
This presidential campaign has been the nastiest, most vulgar in memory and possibly of all time (although some of the 19th century elections were pretty raw). Should Hillary Clinton be elected, the highest glass ceiling for the advancement of women in the workplace will have been shattered. But already the floor has been littered with filth and debris. Clinton has been accused of being a criminal for destroying emails and Donald Trump has promised to send her to jail if he is elected. In turn, Trump has been charged with sexual harassment and fondling women. More time has been spent discussing the size of genitalia and the appearance of women than has been spent on improving the economy or at least so it seems.

Clinton, a New Yorker and the Democratic nominee for president, is expected to win handily in Greenbelt. We’ll find out Tuesday evening. To read the full article in the paper, click here.
