Sunday, February 20 at 2 p.m. There will be spoken word performances by Jordan Smith and Sainey Cessay, Prince George’s County Youth Poet Laureate. Delegates Nicole Williams and Alonzo Washington will talk about the role of Black fraternities and sororities, and there will be a youth performance and reenactment of the Civil Rights movement. Sunday, February 27 at 1 p.m. The Black History Month movie at Old Greenbelt Theatre is King Richard. This movie is offered free to the community, but pre-registration is required and capacity is limited due to Covid restrictions.
