Published continuously since the New Deal City of Greenbelt was founded in 1937, the News Review is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents. In 1970 we won a landmark First Amendment case in the Supreme Court.

Circulation

The News Review is delivered to the residents of the city in a variety of ways*.  Single family and townhouse homes in the center and eastern parts of the city receive door-to-door delivery.  Condominium and rental apartments are private property and delivery conforms to HOA or management company policy.  Copies are also available at locations around the city: outdoor boxes at bus stops and metro are complemented by supplies in stores, offices, malls and public buildings.  *We do not deliver to most access controlled buildings.

If you would like the newspaper mailed to you via USPS, please print the Subscription Order Form and mail it to us with your check.  The cost is $55 per year and must be prepaid.

Requests to skip particular addresses, long or short term, are relayed to carriers to observe on a best-efforts basis. They deliver to all the doorsteps in an area without reference to a list of addresses and we cannot guarantee a skip. We recommend taking turns cooperating with neighbors to ensure papers do not build up during an absence.
