Grief Support Group
Doctors Hospital Critical Care Conference Room, 2nd floor, FREE. Provides supportive listening, sharing and psycho-educational resources for people who have experienced a loss. In addition to a focus on validation and normalization, participants learn more about the effects of grief and tactics to manage it. These meetings are facilitated by Cynthia Swan, LCPC, grief and bereavement counselor with Capital Caring Hospice of Largo.

7–8pm, Municipal Building, FREE. Greenbelt CARES is holding sessions in response to the recent tragic loss in our community. Sessions are facilitated by CARES Crisis Intervention Counselors. FREE and open to anyone wishing to attend. Follow up counseling is available to those seeking additional support.
Joey Williams Project
7–9pm, New Deal Café, FREE. 5-time Grammy winner Joey Williams' soul, blues and funk! A part of modern Gospel and Pop music history.

Stroke Support Group
1–3pm, Doctors Hospital Professional Bldg, 1st floor conf. room, FREE. Join stroke survivors and caregivers to explore resources as well as learn about stroke prevention, healthy lifestyles and empowerment strategies. For more information, call 301-DCH-4YOU (301-324-4968).
Around the Co-op Series
4–7pm, Greenbelt Co-Op, FREE. The program will draw inspiration from around the store as we explore one of the departments, aisles, or some new products. We will bring out some less familiar items and even some old favorites. We will also highlight some of the lesser known store services. We will provide samples and discounts when possible, and we will always strive to expose customers to “the rest of the store.”
Freedom from Smoking
6–7:30pm, Doctors Community Hospital, North Building, Room 415, FREE. Free 8-week program designed to help people during their journeys toward smoke-free and healthier living. In addition to support and education, participants of this free eight-week program receive blood pressure screenings and carbon monoxide level monitoring.
