Forest Stewardship Project: Coexisting with Beavers
10am–1pm, Buddy Attick Lake Park, FREE. Help protect slow-growth trees at Buddy Attick Park from beavers and ivy.
Arbor Day Tree Planting
10am–2:30pm, FREE. Plant native trees and shrubs and install beaver fencing to keep the trees safe from our resident Beaver. At 1 pm there will be a guided tree tour of Greenbelt Significant Trees. Meet at Public Works Building for planting in Buddy Attick Park.
Repair Cafe
10am–4pm, Makerspace, FREE. Bring clothing, appliances, computers and jewelry in need of repair! Volunteers will staff stations and fix or teach you how to fix. Volunteers will be available to help with Bicycles, Clothing/Fabric, Computers, Electronics, Furniture, Jewelry, Small Appliances, and Small Motors.
Master Gardeners: Herbs to Grow and Cook
2pm, Greenbelt Library, FREE. Enjoy an easy way to garden that has a side benefit. Herbs are great for wherever you live and are low maintenance. Improve the look, smell, and taste, of your salads, main dishes and desserts with herbs from your garden.
Women in Aviation
2pm, Greenbelt Library, FREE. The College Park Aviation Museum will be presenting a program on women's involvement throughout the history of aviation. There will also be a hands-on activity accompanying this presentation. All ages welcome!

Star Party: Tour the Moon
8:30–10:30pm, City of Greenbelt Observatory, Northway Field, FREE. Visitors are also welcome to set up their own telescopes on the hill. Attendees are asked to park in the ballfield lot, not up on the hill, unless bringing a telescope. Cancelled if hopelessly cloudy.
Jelly Roll Mortals
8:30–11:30pm, New Deal Café, FREE. A quintet of seasoned DC singers/songwriters/instrumentalists combine top-drawer tune-smithing, stellar harmonies, virtuosic playing and low-key sense of humor into an entertaining stew of rock, country and the like.

Some pieces to be included are: Solo Pomposo, tuba solo performed by Norman Cary; Victory at Sea (symphonic scenario) by Richard Rodgers; Dixieland Jamboree by John Warrington; American Patrol, in the Glenn Miller Big Band style; and Armed Forces Salute by Bob Lowden.
