Auditions for Evil Dead: The Musical
7pm, Greenbelt Arts Center, FREE. Callbacks, if needed, will be Thursday, December 11. Director Jeffery Lesniak, with music director Paul Nahay and choreographer Rikki Howie Lacewell, are casting 5 men and 4 women, to play college-age. Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and either Saturday or Sunday. Performances run March 6-28. All roles are open and unpaid.

10am, Community Center, Room 114, FREE.
GHI Pre-Purchase Orientation
11am, GHI Board Room, FREE. This informative meeting explains how a cooperative works, lists the steps in the purchase process, and describes how you become a member of the cooperative.
Alight Dance Theater in-studio holiday celebraion
1–4pm, Community Center, FREE. From 1 to 2 p.m. an open level movement class will be taught by alight dance artists. No experience is necessary; participants should wear comfortabl clothes and socks. At 2 p.m. alight artists will perform excerpts from their current repertory, Frontline and Dependent. At 3 p.m. Artistic Director Angella Foster and Resident Choreographer Wayles Haynes will teach participants how to choreograph the alight way.
Elves' Workshop
1:30–3:30pm, Youth Center, $5. Ages 7-12. Pre-registration is required. Spend the afternoon with Santa’s Elves creating holiday crafts and cookies.
Plaza Woman & Treasure Chest

$154 residents; $177 non-residents. Come be a part of the 15th Greenbelt Youth Musical, “Secret Circus”! Teen performers will present a new version of Secret Circus, an original musical written and directed by Chris Cherry. This is an open-enrollment program, so everyone who signs up is cast in the show. Participants also must generally be available for rehearsals. See the link for more details!

Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, is a groundbreaking feature length environmental documentary, following an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today and investigates why the world's leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it.
