4–7pm, Greenbelt Co-Op, FREE. The Greenbelt Co-op Supermarket & Pharmacy will be offering a free wine tasting featuring wines selected by our resident wine consultant. Anyone who decides to purchase a tasting wine will receive $1 off the price of each bottle.

A Visit from Scarface
8pm, Greenbelt Arts Center, $22; $20 students, senior, military. It's 1932, and the famous Hollywood writer Ben Hecht has just finished his screenplay for a movie produced by Howard Hughes called SCARFACE, loosely based on the real life story of Al Capone.
Karikatura
8:30–11:30pm, New Deal Café, FREE. With bright horns, socially conscious lyrics and booty-bouncing beats, this NYC band delivers a unique blend of Transglobal Soul. An organic synthesis of all the music heard blasting out of car windows and shops onto the streets of NYC, Karikatura lives where reggae meets klezmer, cumbia meets hip-hop and indie-rock meets afrobeat. Neither purist nor revivalist, this is music of the present, for the future.
