Grief Support Group
Doctors Hospital Critical Care Conference Room, 2nd floor, FREE. Provides supportive listening, sharing and psycho-educational resources for people who have experienced a loss. In addition to a focus on validation and normalization, participants learn more about the effects of grief and tactics to manage it. These meetings are facilitated by Cynthia Swan, LCPC, grief and bereavement counselor with Capital Caring Hospice of Largo.

Each year, the Greenbelt Co-op Supermarket & Pharmacy gives a $1,200 grant to a group, organization or cooperative to initiate and implement a new project or activity in Greenbelt that fits the Jim Cassels service spirit.
