Gardeners, canners, knitters and all homemaking crafty folks in Greenbelt should start preparing their entries for the 7th Annual Retro Town Fair. It will be held over Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 1 on the grounds of the Greenbelt Museum at 10-B Crescent Road.
Judging classes will include flowers/vegetables/fruits, baked goods, canned goods, needlework and crafts. A newer open category for
demonstration and exhibiting-only is the legacy class. 2018 was the first year for this exhibition type and it was filled with truly inspiring pieces. Many of the participants would like to share family heirlooms with the community, and this legacy class will again
enable them to do so. More information will be available on the Retro Town Fair registration form, which will be posted at greenbeltmuseum.org in August. For questions contact organizer Sheila Maffay-Tuthill at education@greenbeltmuseum.org.
