Misbehavin' Maidens
7:30–9:30pm, New Deal Café, FREE. Lewd lyrical lasses with tight chorals and loose morals! A mixed a capella/folk band comprised of four women with a love of sex-positive music, parodies, drinking & fandom references for the adult crowd. While all of the ladies come from a "pirate" background, they like to embrace a wide range of subcultures, often singing songs with references to anime, video games, science fiction, and fantasy. Parental Discretion Advised.

Tribute
8pm, Greenbelt Arts Center, $22; $20 students, senior, military. Scottie Templeton's a charming, irresponsible fellow. Life's been one continuous gag. But at fifty-one, he finds the script's been rewritten as a tragedy. His son Jud, alienated by years of neglect, comes to visit. Scottie's one concern is to make friends with his son, for everyone else adores Scottie including his ex-wife, his friend and boss, and his doctor. Tribute is a warm, funny, touching play with wonderful characters.
